In the footsteps of Tang Hao and Gu Liu Xin. Which sources on the origins of Taijiquan/Wushu can be regarded as reliable today? This is a question that has hardly been researched and investigated independently in the West in recent decades.

An insight into documents, diaries, publications and interviews reveals the tragedy, fighting spirit and heroism of two researchers who wanted access to martial arts for everyone in order to strengthen their country, but were met with hostility from both the West and the East. A lecture looking at their goals, their works, what they achieved and what they could not achieve.

The event is being held in cooperation with the Society for the Study and Practice of Small Frame Chen Clan Taijiquan e. V. and the Pagoda Friedrichshafen.
