LICENCE REGULATIONS

for recognition as a Chen Taijiquan Xiaojia teacher by the GCT

(Valid from 3 October 2019)

These regulations govern the licensing system for teachers of the Society for Research and Practice of the Small Frame Chen Clan Taijiquan e. V. .

Members of the 'Society for Research and Practice of the Small Frame Chen Clan Taijiquan e. V.' (hereinafter referred to as GCT) can be licensed as teachers.

§1 Lineages

The licensing system is based on the one hand on Master Dietmar Stubenbaum, the representative of the 11th generation in Chen Taijiquan Dajia and the 13th generation in Chen Taijiquan Xiaojia, and on the other hand on the International Society of Chen Taijiquan (ISCT), according to Master Peishan Chen and Master Peiju Chen, the representatives of the 20th generation of the Chen Clan and the 12th generation of Chen Taijiquan Xiaojia.

§2 Requirements for licensing as a teacher of the GCT

  • Membership of the GCT
  • Completion of the 18th year of life
  • Completion of a teacher training programme within the framework of one of the transmission lines mentioned in §1
  • Possession of a valid licence as a teacher in one of the lineages mentioned in §1

§3 Authorised GCT licence holder

  • The chairperson of the GCT board or a member appointed by the board is authorised to grant licences.

§4 Licensing

  • Licensing is carried out by the authorised licensing officer with a stamp and signature on the valid licence certificate of one of the above-mentioned transmission lines.
  • Each new licence issued (e.g. a replacement licence in the event of loss, or upon passing an examination for a higher teaching level, etc.) in one of the transmission lines mentioned in §1 must be
  • to be presented to the GCT licensing officer for re-licensing.

§5 Validity of the licence

  • The validity of the licence ends with the validity of the licence in one of the lines of transmission mentioned in §1. The end of such validity must be reported to the GCT board in writing within one month of the end of the validity.
  • In order to verify the validity of the licence in one of the lines of succession mentioned in §1, the licence holder must be sent a copy of the valid licence once a year in January, without being asked to do so.
  • §6 Licensing fee
  • No fees are charged for the licence.

§7 Benefits for licensed teachers of the GCT

  • Use of the logo of the Society for Research and Practice of Small Frame Chen Clan Taijiquan e. V. (GCT) for both internal and private business purposes.
  • Use of the logo of the International Society of Chen Taijiquan (ISCT) for both internal and commercial purposes.
  • Use of the name of the Society for Research and Practice of Small Frame Chen Clan Taijiquan e. V. (GCT) as a means of advertising for both internal and commercial purposes.
  • The use of the name of the International Society of Chen Taijiquan (ISCT) as a means of advertising for both internal and commercial purposes.

§8 Obligations of the licence holder

  • The licensee is obliged to take out private insurance (liability insurance, etc.) in accordance with the legal requirements in order to be able to carry out his teaching activities.
  • The licensee is personally responsible for complying with the licence conditions that are relevant to him.
  • The licensee must act in accordance with the statutes (GCT and ISCT statutes)

§9 Licence withdrawal

  • The training provider has the right to withdraw licences if the licence holder violates the statutes of the GCT or ethical and moral principles (see 'Code of Honour').
